Wedding at The Coral Gables Country Club - Alisan + Robbie

We always get excited when we get a message from a wedding planner asking, "Do you have this date available?" We love it because we know that if a couple is referred through a wedding planner there's a great chance they are recommending us because we have worked together in the past and they liked our style and service. They contact us because they already know we will be a good fit with their client. We get excited because working together with one of the many fantastic wedding coordinators in South Florida means that everything is sure to look amazing, the day will be organized, and even the smallest details will be handled with professionalism.  We get excited because it means collaborating with a colleague in the business and sharing a laugh or two. We just get excited! Now- we triple that excitement when the question comes from one of our favorites - Events by Gigi!  This is exactly what occurred October of last year when Gigi simply asked if we were available to shoot a wedding on November 11, 2018 for a sweet couple - Alisan and Robbie.  It turned out that we had the date free and we are grateful that we did or not we would not be able to present this beautiful couple in this blog today.

Alisan and Robbie had such a spectacular wedding day. It was truly one of those perfect Fall days in Miami with blue skies and just enough coolness in the air to let you know it's not summertime anymore.  The sunny weather must have been a delight to their 200+ guests who all arrived from the Northeast to celebrate with the happy couple. The whole event took place at the Coral Gables Country Club.  This is where the two first saw each other in their wedding attire during an intimate first look and portrait session right before the ketubah signing ceremony. Just as the sun began to set, all of their guests awaited to witness the two exchange vows under the chuppah - symbolizing the home they will build together. And by the looks of all the friends and family surrounding them, they will be building a home full of love.  Once the marriage was made official, it was time to drink, eat, and dance the night away!

The ballroom was impeccable! It was clear that their vision was perfectly executed into a sea of white floral arrangements with hints of gold.  We were just as blown away with the decor as the bride and groom were! It was the perfect setting for Alisan and Robbie's first dance as man and wife. No Jewish wedding is complete without the Hora, or chair dance. In this tradition, a few strong and brave guests hoist the bride and groom high above the crowd on chairs to the infectious sounds of "Hava Nagila" played by the amazing band. It was so much fun! And the fun continued through the night.  What a fantastic way to start a marriage!

So, to say that we were excited for this wedding is an understatement - and now we are excited to share some of our favorite highlights with you.  Please join us in congratulating Alisan and Robbie as we wish them a lifetime of happiness!
