Wedding | The Cooper Estate | Laura + John Michael
If you're considering a wedding at The Cooper Estate in Homestead, Florida, Laura and John Michael’s celebration is a perfect example of how beautiful and personal this venue can feel. Surrounded by lush greenery, natural stone features, and a quiet, tropical atmosphere, The Cooper Estate gives couples a private, scenic place to celebrate with the people they love most.
Getting Ready Moments
Laura spent the morning getting ready with her closest friends and family. Her hair and makeup were done by Visions by Daili and The Glaminator, helping her feel calm and confident before walking down the aisle. On the other side of the property, John Michael got into his suit while excitement quietly built for what was ahead.
A Ceremony in the Grotto
They decided to wait to see each other until the ceremony — a choice that made the moment even more emotional. The ceremony took place in the venue’s grotto area, surrounded by trees, stone paths, and flowing water. Mario from Tie the Knot Miami officiated the ceremony and helped bring everything together with warmth and intention.
Portraits Around the Property
After the ceremony, we moved around the property with Laura and John Michael to capture portraits. One of the best things about The Cooper Estate is how many photo-friendly areas it offers in one location. From tree-lined paths to open garden spaces, it gave us the chance to photograph quiet, natural moments without rushing.
A Reception Full of Energy and Style
The reception space was designed with help from Nevot Flower Design, who created a romantic floral setup that complemented the couple’s style perfectly. Unique Designer’s Cake delivered a cake that looked as good as it tasted, and Event Factor kept the dance floor full well into the night.
Why The Cooper Estate Is a Favorite for South Florida Weddings
